Online Courses

Most of my teaching is delivered live online, in your own kitchen. A week before each session, you receive a detailed shopping list and preparation notes. At the scheduled time, you log in via Zoom and we cook together in real time, so you can ask questions as we go. My multi camera setup ensures you have a clear view of every technique, and I guide you step by step as you practise in your own space. Sessions typically run for two hours. This allows us to cover not only the practical steps, but the reasoning behind them, so you build understanding as well as skill. Courses usually run for 8 to 12 weeks, depending on your goals. Twelve weeks allows for deeper refinement and lasting confidence. Every programme is tailored following your discovery call. Alongside live sessions, some programmes include pre-recorded lessons that you can revisit and cook along with in your own time, supporting your progress between classes.

Laptop or tablet: All you need is a device to log in via Zoom. I recommend placing your device on a stand or books for comfortable viewing. Smartphone (optional): You may link your smartphone to your main device and position it so I can see what you are doing. This allows me to observe your technique while you watch the main demonstration. I will guide you through the setup during your discovery call. Wireless earphones (optional): AirPods or similar allow you to move freely around your kitchen while still hearing and speaking with me clearly.

I work with home cooks who want to strengthen their foundations and build greater confidence in the kitchen. Some clients are developing core skills for the first time, while others already cook regularly but want to refine technique and feel more instinctive. I do not teach children directly. My focus is on supporting adults to feel capable and in control. However, I do guide parents on how to involve their children in the kitchen in a practical, manageable way, so family cooking feels collaborative rather than overwhelming. The aim is to equip you with the skills to lead confidently, with your family alongside you.

Yes. Lessons can be adapted to suit vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, or other dietary needs. Every programme is tailored to ensure you feel comfortable and confident cooking food that suits your household.

I focus on building strong foundations so you can cook confidently across a wide range of cuisines. My approach centres on real ingredients and balanced meals that nourish and satisfy. Rather than following trends or rigid rules, we develop an understanding of flavour, structure, and technique so you can adapt dishes instinctively. I regularly teach food inspired by Italian, Indian, Mexican, French, Japanese, Thai, Middle Eastern, Greek, Vietnamese, Turkish, Caribbean, Moroccan, Ethiopian, Iranian, British and more. The direction is always shaped around your interests and goals. My teaching style is practical and structured, grounded in the realities of everyday life. The aim is lasting confidence and independence in your own kitchen.

Each programme is fully bespoke, so pricing varies depending on the level of support, duration, and format. Following your discovery call, I design a tailored course plan aligned with your goals and provide a clear quotation. The only fixed pricing listed on the website relates to gift cards.

Yes. You are welcome to undertake a course with a partner or friend. Learning together can deepen the experience and allow you to practise new techniques side by side. It is also a practical way to share the investment while building shared confidence in the kitchen.

I am based in downtown Toronto and offer private in person lessons within the Greater Toronto Area. In person sessions take place in your home and typically run for three to five hours. I recommend them selectively, where hands on refinement and close technical adjustments will make a meaningful difference to your progress. Although I am originally from the UK and occasionally work with clients there, most teaching is delivered online. If you are interested in an in person session, we can discuss suitability during your discovery call.

Online corporate classes are similar to my individual online lessons, but tailored for groups. Sessions can range from shorter experiences to more in depth classes. They are well suited to team building, employee wellbeing, or virtual events.
